Mark Hooper is the host of Hong Kong 360, a Radio Lantau interview-based talk show featuring voices of Hong Kong opinion leaders. The show is a platform to discuss and spotlight Hong Kong politics, arts, culture and current events, with those interesting people/characters participating in Hong Kong’s vibrant city scene.

This week we talk with Yonden Lhatoo, Chief News Editor at the South China Morning Post. Before he joined the Post he was the main anchor and editor-in-chief of ATV's English news department until April 2015. Apart from his editorial duties, he regularly moderates forums and seminars on current affairs for the Post, and has extensive experience covering Hong Kong's economic, political and social landscape. He has publicly written, spoken and taught about Hong Kong issues, but is still trying to figure it all out.

Hong Kong 360 - Episode 41 - Daisy Mandap

This week we talk with Daisy Mandap, a lawyer and journalist, and editor of Hong Kong's The SUN newspaper. Before joining The SUN, she worked as a part-time writer CNN in Hong Kong, and for 10 years was editor, producer and writer for English news at Asia Television …also known as ATV. She has been an active leader of the Filipino community in Hong Kong, is an advocate for the rights of Filipino domestic workers, and she is a recipient of the Community Service award from the HKSAR government in 2010.

Hong Kong 360  Episode 40 - Edwin Lau and Fanny Moritz

This week we have two guests....

Edwin Lau Che-feng is founder and executive director of The Green Earth, and has been actively engaged in environmental protection work since the late 1980. His primary interests are related to waste management, air pollution, climate change and energy conservation. He initiated the first waste paper recycling programme in Hong Kong schools. In 2009, Mr Lau was awarded the Medal of Honour by the Hong Kong SAR government in recognition of his long-term contribution to the cause of environmental protection and education.

Fanny Moritz is the Founder and CEO of Now, No Waste, an organization looking for alternatives to disposables, creating a platform giving people access to reusable and compostable products…all designed to help raise awareness towards developing a zero-waste lifestyle. Moritz is a web designer and activist and is looking to expand her zero waste ideas to other markets.
